Heart Language

heart-language

For as long back as I can remember I had my own “language”. I was a very imaginative child. I’m aware that most people can just start talking gibberish if they really want to. Some find it fun, others think it’s stupid. People in some religions sometimes use it as a way of “wowing” crowds. They say it’s “god” or some other spirit speaking through them.

Is it real? This article talks about the phenomenon of “glossolalia”:

glossolalia consists of strings of meaningless syllables made up of sounds taken from those familiar to the speaker and put together more or less haphazardly …. Glossolalia is language-like because the speaker unconsciously wants it to be language-like. Yet in spite of superficial similarities, glossolalia fundamentally is not language (Nickell, 108).

And goes on to discuss scientific experiments that were conducted in an effort to figure out what it’s all about:

There is evidence that while speaking in tongues people experience a sharp decrease in frontal lobe function, the area of the brain that enables reason and self-control. There is also increased activity in the parietal region of the brain, which takes sensory information and tries to create a sense of self relating to the world.

So what does this really mean? It means we don’t know much about it at all yet. It means those who speak their own language are definitely reaching something in a different manner than everyday talking. But what that is, exactly, is up for debate. Scientifically speaking, we don’t have any proof it is a real “language” of any sort or from anything outside of ourselves. Those who do not really lean towards the spiritual will likely write it off as nothing. That’s fine.

But some may hear about “heart language”, or “soul language”, or “light language” and feel like that means something to them. They may hear someone speak in this “language” and feel something strongly. My theory is, if it does not harm you or anyone else to explore the idea of it, then why not imagine a little? Imagine that perhaps it is a real thing that the rational world cannot yet define.

Ra’el calls it my “heart language”. This is defined as a language of the heart. The words spoken are meant to evoke feelings, not directly translation. And the language is different for everyone. I don’t think anyone could expect to speak their language and have someone else figure it out. It evokes personal feelings, and it would be up to the speaker to work out the meaning.

The most important thing that came out of my talks with Ra’el regarding my heart language was tapping into my soul name. I believe my Higher Self has a name and that everyone does – a name that carries the resonance of their Self through all time. So with Ra’el’s help, I have opened up to being able to hear my name (as well as his full name).

I Am Si’Caliandra and Ra’el Nianda. Together we are Sol’tok Diandra. Now, I’m not sure what feelings these words evoke for anyone else, but this is what I feel when I hear/speak them: Si’Caliandra – flowering/blossoming love; Ra’el Nianda – ray (of) star love; Sol’tok Dianra – total heart love.

I am a skeptical spiritual believer, so I’m not going to tell you that this is 100% without a doubt, real. I will say, it feels interesting to me. It sparks my interest, my curiosities, and imagination. And since there is no harm in that, I will continue to play around with this idea.

Do you have any experience speaking your own language? Does anything I’ve written above have a resonance with you? Or do you think it’s all fake? Let’s discuss this topic! Leave a comment below. <3
